By the latest data of W3Techs (January 2022), WordPress is used on 65.3% of sites on which CMS could be detected — this is 33.6% of all sites of internet. When evaluating W3Techs, it takes into account only first-level domains, which means all blogs on wordpress.com counted as one site. The analysis included the top 10 million Alexa sites.
