WP_Locale{}WP 2.1.0AllowDynamicProperties

Core class used to store translated data for a locale.

No Hooks.

Usage

$WP_Locale = new WP_Locale();
// use class methods

Examples

0

#1 Display the form with the selection of the month

There is no need to initialize the class, WP does it automatically. An instance of the class is in the global variable $wp_locale.

<?php
global $wp_locale;
?>

<form action="">
	<label for="month">Month</label>
	<select name="month" id="month">
		<option value="0" disabled selected>Select month</option>
		<?php
		foreach ( $wp_locale->month as $index => $month ) {
			printf( '<option value="%s">%s</option>', $index, $month );
		}
		?>
	</select>
</form>

For reference. The class is initialized with the following code:

$GLOBALS['wp_locale'] = new WP_Locale();
